What`s wrong With American Politics ?

96% of american people who got off there arse to vote, chose hillary clinton to be president of the united states of america over donald trump.. and the electoral college overode the will of the majority of the people who bothered to vote , and gave the office of president to donald trump who was the 2nd choice, an also ran , of the will of the people.. it`s a furphy to say that some larger blue/red states can dictate to smaller red/blue states or vice versa to rig the elections ,simply because people can, and do change there preferences in any one state whether it be traditionally red or blue.. both democrats and republicans are both guilty and responsible for the gerrymander that is the electoral college.. there i`ve said it ,.
nobody else seems to be able to say it how it is ,.

If a JW becomes inactive is he then labeled as an apostate?
by Pallbearer ini have heard a rumor that if a jw becomes inactive he or she is considered to be an apostate.
is this true?

If you are inactive and not on the elder's radar to investigate you, throw the depression and anxiety card. The Enstein-Barr Virus is also a good cover, it leaves you sooooo weak and it can last for years.

Eliminate the Oil Industry?
by Anony Mous ina lot of countries are on the side of eliminating the oil industry altogether as well as zero-emission alternatives like nuclear power.. in the us, biden has promised to eliminate all federal lands oil production when he takes power in 2021 (30% of the united states) as well as native american tribal lands which account for 8 percent of all oil, 9 percent of all natural gas, and 6 percent of all natural gas liquids from 96,000 wells (10% of the total wells in the us).. in europe, oil and gas production has been largely eliminated except for the nordic countries and the uk (which the eu recently lost access to), germany is funding a major oil pipeline as is china from russia and russian-controlled portions of ukraine, even after trump cut off all builders from russian oil pipelines, the russian government is now trying to build the pipeline themselves with potential disastrous results.. venezuela's economy collapsed largely due to the government taking over and eliminating the oil industry companies.. in the mean time, control for most non-us energy sources is now wholly dependent on russian and middle eastern governments.. california and germany eliminated oil-based energy sources and now mandate 30% of their power from 'green' wind and solar alternatives.
germany energy costs now hover around 25c/kwh and california is not far behind with 16c/kwh both experiencing rolling blackouts in major cities and importing 60% of mostly coal and gas energy from their neighbors.. the world currently has 300 years worth of oil at the current rates of usage which have stagnated due to improved efficiencies.
co2 emissions in the us have dropped in the last 3 years for the first time in decades despite (or because) reduced oil and gas regulations.. do you think given the above facts, eliminating the oil industry is a good thing?

I've worked at four nuclear plants in the U.S.A. Yes, there is nuclear waste but for the amount of energy produced it is low, and for much of the last it is stored on site. I personally feel the current procedures are more than safe. I remember the Three Mile Island situation when I was a young man. Story I've heard several times while personally questioning older workers is that workers in the control room had a news paper that was covering a warning light. Jimmy Carter personally visited the control room and asked what the problem was and helped them find what happened. (I've also heard of an operations controller say you are getting false reading fill the pool with water). NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) does not permit any reading material, personal possessions, etc in the control room that could impede safe operation. This is what I was told.
As I have explained to my daughter, the smoke from the cooling towers at a nuclear power plant is only steam cooling down the water from 600 degrees and very high pressure. It is not nuclear waste. The nuclear rods heat the water to run a steam turbine. That's it's. The spent fuel is stored on site in steel and concrete cylinders after it has cooled in the pool inside containment.
As far as getting rid of coal here in the U.S. it makes no sense when China is building a lot of coal fired plants.
Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has a great use of their terrain just outside of Chattanooga, Tn. The power from Sequoyah Nuclear Plant when demand is low usually at night is used to pump millions of gallons of water in to a man-made lake at the top of Racoon Mountain. Then when demand is higher the water is released into hydroelectric turbines.

Granted, TVA had 6 million yards of fly ash flow into river close to Knoxville, Tennessee and they cleaned it up, and workers are sueing them for the adverse health effects.
Windmills kill birds. Coal has fly ash that needs to be stored. Nuclear has spent fuel and other contaminated materials like used personal protective equipment (clothing) that needs to be stored.
I'm not an expert in energy. Hydroelectric energy is wonderful and is cheap. Kentucky recently was in the process of building three hydroelectric dams on the Ohio river. I worked on two of them. Hydroelectric energy is very cheap.
The tools to manufacture energy are diverse and with the proper management will overall benefit humans. If you live in a third world country or in California you can regularly have rolling black outs. Blackouts present their own negative issues. Is your mass transit train powered by electricity? Wait until you have a rolling blackout because solar or wind cannot meet the demand. The loss of productivity is exponential.

Clarkey, you can win the popular vote but if you don't get at least 270 Electoral College votes you will not be President. Electoral College "Trumps" popular vote.

I voted early in Georgia (a State in the US). You must fill out an affidavit form verifying your identity, that you were not paid to vote, and sign it with your name and address, present your ID to verify signature. You are then given a credit card like card to insert into a computer voting machine. After you make your choices you print your ballot out and then put it into a scanner to cast your ballot. This system used here is probably not hackable.

It is this lack of a "higher code of ethics" that Watchtower Bible and Tract Society fail to embrace that will slowly bleed itself financially to death. If the WTBTS would just come clean on what they have done, acknowledge the defect, make corrections, and move on I don't believe they would have suffered the losses of followers that they have. But they keep denying, throwing lawyers and court cases at any and everyone that mentions it, within their own walls they continue to throw dirt at anyone that publicizes their mistakes and refuse to change.
They could have stopped all of this 10 to 30 years ago but it just keeps festering. They waste more articles, talks at conventions etc bashing apostates than trying to build spiritual characteristics in individuals. And the reason is clear, "They themselves are spiritually bankrupt and have no insight to lead anyone."! Blind leading the blind.
When King David who lived on the run from King Saul had the opportunity to kill him, he would not do it but waited on Jehovah. When Peter cut the ear off of a soldier, Jesus healed it. If they had come out and said, "It has been brought to our attention that we have been lacking and deficient in these areas and we are humble enough to admit and make changes" we are currently studying the best way forward with Jah's help, blah blah blah...The money vaults would have opened up to them.

he has tried to get back on facebook and it appears there is no way for him to return.
people are being removed from social media platforms simply because they have a different political view.

I have a Twitter account that I don't use. However, after reading this I logged in and looked up some news topics featuring Twitter censorship in current U.S. politics and the new information on the hard drive of Hunter Biden at a repair shop. My Tweets were shut down, citing "something went wrong" couldn't post your Tweet.
I agree that these U.S. oligarchs should appear before the U.S. Senate and DOJ (Not so Just) for criminal charges in attempting to influence an election. They need to answer questions as Ted Cruz is demanding in his letters to Twitter and Facebook. Social media companies for years couldn't make any money until they figured out they could sell information on unsuspecting users. Since then, they have become competitive political parties that are masters of tax avoidance.

News reports today are that Twitter is blocking news of Hunter Biden email from a chemical company in BFE being reported on by a dot.gov. I don't do Twotter. Interesting how all these social media giants side consistently against anything that cast a bad light on the Democrats but with Republicans crickets. Ted Cruz wrote a letter to Twitter and Facebook demanding answers to his questions.
I got rid of a Facebook account with my real name because of a Union discussion group I made some suggestions about writing off your travel expenses and keeping records. (2017 Before the new tax laws without deductions). Funny, I was audited within 8 months of those comments. IRS didn't find anything and did not change my taxes paid.
